  45. Well, when I start Linux it says that it's delaying the initialisation of 
  46. eth0 which is because in the /lib/modules directory I only have the misc 
  47. directory containing the fpem module.  I've tried installing the modules 
  48. rpm from the ftp site but I just get errors telling me that the modules 
  49. are already installed (if I use the latest version).  I've tried using an 
  50. old set of modules along with the relevant version of the kernel but that 
  51. gives errors that say that the symbols in the module don't match those in 
  52. the kernel which makes no sense to me at all!

  54. So, I can't send or recieve as I have no driver installed (or available) 
  55. and I don't have another card that I can try as all the people I know use 
  56. PCs (well, nobody's perfect!).

  58. Perhaps I should just buy a cheap PC and install Linux on that! :)
